This week Matt and Josh attended the joint ProCon Leicestershire and ProCon Nottinghamshire CPD on the new Procurement Act.

The development of the Act was prompted by the UK leaving the EU in 2020 and it intends to create a simpler, more flexible, commercial system that better meets the country’s needs, while also remaining compliant with international obligations.

Guest speakers John Simons, Group Procurement Director at SCAPE and Louise Bennet, Senior Associate at Browne Jacobson covered; the act and the changes for customers, benefits and impacts, how we need to adapt, support mechanisms and the additional notices that will be required.
