Loughborough regeneration scheme

We are pleased to share that Addison Hunt have been selected to join the consultant team on an interesting new regeneration project – ‘The Generator’ – in central Loughborough.

The scheme will see a £2.3m transformation of a 1930s building, which once housed an Electricity Generator for Loughborough College.

Works will turn this property into a creative hub for the town, with a multi-media arts space for community arts, live performances, and a venue for exhibitions, corporate events and celebrations.

The new 220 people capacity venue will be a great asset for the community after years of decay, and the team are very proud to be part of the process and a part of our town’s regeneration.

We would like to thank our client Loughborough CIC for choosing us to join Lindeota Architects, Messenger Construction, Safer Sphere, Mewes Engineering Consultants, Chris Brown Structural Engineering, EP Consulting, Gillerson Scott Acoustic Design, Theatreplan and KIWA Ltd.

Works started this month and are due for completion in early 2025.
